Business class SIP telephones compatible with Avaya Inc.’s IP Office 500 6.0 unified communications platform

Xiamen, China — Specialist VoIP manufacturer Yealink today announced that its T18 and T2x range of business class SIP telephone handset is now compliant with the IP Office 500 6.0, the key unified communications platform from Avaya Inc., a global leader in enterprise communications systems, software and services. The Yealink range meets growing demand from businesses now migrating from analogue to SIP platforms to release cost and feature benefits. The application now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with all five Yealink models, the SIP- T18P, SIP-T20P, SIP-T22P, SIP-T26P and SIP- T28P. “This is far from a tick-box exercise as Avaya compliance testing is a rigorous process. Now that the test is complete, this will greatly benefit business users of Yealink technologies” commented Stone Lu, VP of Yealink,”vaya IP Office is an absolutely crucial platform in the enterprise marketplace, being a highly scalable, open standard solution which unleashes the potential of communications infrastructures to deliver significant cost and productivity benefits” Yealink is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network. As a Gold member of the program, Yealink is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs. “As a respected, R&D- led VoIP specialist, Yealink is a welcome development partner whose expertise and co-operation under the DevConnect programme will further assist Avaya in helping businesses work smarter and more efficiently”said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations, Avaya,”Together we can deliver high quality, affordable SIP solutions which can swiftly and positively impact bottom lines” About Avaya Avaya is a global leader in enterprise communications systems. The company provides unified communications, contact centers, data solutions and related services directly and through its channel partners to leading businesses and organizations around the world. Enterprises of all sizes depend on Avaya for state-of-the-art communications that improve efficiency, collaboration, customer service and competitiveness. For more information, please visit www.avaya.com. For more information on the Avaya DevConnect program, visit www.avaya.com/devconnect. About Yealink Yealink has been providing high quality VoIP products since 2001 and has accumulated the technical know-how of IP technology to meet the ever evolving needs of the VoIP world.

Centrix Networks and manufacturers like Polycom, Yealink and SNOM have made a deep committment to High Definition telephony. We believe in the HD platform and is rolling it out in the Florida Market. According to a press release from Polycom……………………..

“In an audio environment, you have a lot of outside influences, to what is being captured, such as echo from the walls, and so forth, and you have to be able to eliminate all that,”

The SoundPoint IP 450 desk phone

“With HD voice, you have twice the amount of information—in some cases up to four times as much. So when you have those higher highs and lower lows, you get even more echo and more—call it junk—in the audio that you have to clean up.”

Then again, the physical design of the phone components also plays a role. “That means a special enclosure for improved bass sounds, a better microphone placement, such that we can pick up the higher frequencies,”

“So, when you combine the wideband codecs with what we call our ‘acoustic clarity technology’ and the industrial design of the components themselves, all together, that’s what we call HD voice.”

Of course getting HD-capable equipment into the hands of customers does not in itself an HD revolution make. To make the benefits of wideband audio—greater clarity and intelligibility, improved vocal nuance for enhanced communication—available to the world, service providers’ infrastructure have to support the technology as well. In fact, Aras told VoIPplanet.com, “In the VoIP environment, the equipment along the way—and the endpoints—are fairly far along in terms of enabling HD voice.

HD Voice enables life-like voice clarity and high-fidelity sound for more productive and clear phone conversations. This increased clarity enables more natural conversations and boosts recognition so that you never have to repeat yourself. HD Voice delivers major improvements over regular phone calls, making it seem as though you are in the same room with other participants on the call.

Provides two-to-four times the clarity of ordinary phone calls.

Combines echo cancellation, full duplex and noise reduction with advanced voice processing.

Leverages best-in-class system design, including industry-proven software combined with superior hardware to deliver a total solution that maximizes overall sound quality

Centrix Network’s new platform supports HD audio from Polycom, SNOM and Yealink phones and as other manufacturers develop HD voice SIP Compatible phones we will be able to provision those phones on our network.

Many companies today are overpaying for their telecommunications expenses. I personally have met with companies paying Ma Bell $1,500 for a T1 Circuit when the average price today is $500. They have gotten comfortable with their budget and simply pay more because they can afford it and have not really looked into changing. Many organizations can end up over spending by as much as 40% on their telecom services.

The amount that some companies are spending for a T1 Circuit with 1.5MB they could be getting a 10MB Fiber connection. Many corporations get comfortable and never do an telecommunications audit to see if they are getting the best price on T1′s or the most competitive prices on long distance. I have seen some businesses that have been out of contract and paying three to five year old market prices.

Some larger organizations are paying for cell phones for employees that have left the company. They are paying old rate plans and most providers are not going to approach them and say hey you are paying too much. I was recently impressed with T-Mobile when I called them for a service issue and the rep said hey you have an older plan and your paying too much, let me reduce your bill by $25 today.

If you think that Ma Bell is going to say I see that your overpaying by $800 per month they don’t do it until you tell them that you are ready to switch providers and of course I can give you the same service for $800 less per month.

Some companies also make their bills so confusing so that you can’t figure out that your overpaying.

At Centrix we guarantee that we can lower your bills by at least 15% but in many cases it can be an average of 40% and as high at 60%. Not only do our solutions help you to lower telecom expenses but other costs such as labor by improving they way you communicate with your internal and external clients.

If you think you are paying too much then please contact us today for a no cost telecommunications audit.

This is customer testimonial.

“Just wanted to point out… I was very reluctant to go with a phone company I was not familiar with. Especially with the many internet options that are not always able to offer good quality. After experiencing what I consider to be the “worst case scenario” this weekend with the Comcast issue… I’m just convinced you guys are the best business phone option out there. After my 10 million run-arounds with Comcast technical support, it was a breath of fresh air to call Go Centrix and get such impeccable technical and customer support! Karl and Bryant, you guys rock! I appreciate your attention to detail and commitment to getting our phone service back up as quickly as possible.

I can’t say enough about the great customer service!

Thanks,

Randy

Not only did Centrix Networks save this customer money on their monthly phone bills but we help them to reduce labor costs. This company has multiple locations and has many spanish speaking callers. We developed a spanish call que but all of the calls are routed to one spanish speaking rep that covers the entire region. They were able to share one resource and reduce to the need to hire a bilingual employee at each location.

ORLANDO — January 15, 2010— Centrix Networks offers a call recording solution as a part of it’s Hosted PBX offering. Once this feature was only available to larger companies and call centers with large budgets for large phone systems but now it’s available to smaller companies as a service starting at less than $50 per month.

Call recording can be used to avoid customer/vendor disputes and avoid costly law suits and misrepresentation. Many companies use call recording also known as call logging for verification and acceptance of terms. The healthcare industry uses it for dictation and other organizations use it to record conference calls for distribution via intranet, internet, blogs and email. It is most commonly used in call centers for quality assurance, coaching, mentoring to improve sales and phone etiquette.

Some of the current types of companies that use call logging are towing companies, taxi and limo car companies, insurance companies, the healthcare industry, timeshare and vacation sales companies, public safety, credit card companies and banks. We provide our customers with an interface that can be accessed via a web browser and allows access to the recordings in a wave file format.

Centrix Networks is a Hosted IP PBX Provider in Orlando, Florida that provides phones systems and phone service as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier alternative to AT&T, CenturyLink and Verizon.

Ten sure fire ways to save your company money

1. Stop spending money on styrofoam cups and get your employees a coffee mug. A one time expense instead of a monthly expense and helps your company to become a greener/environmentally friendly and decrease your carbon footprint.

2. Reduce toner and paper costs by implementing a fax to email for receiving and sending faxes. It’s another environmentally friendly solution that will save you money.

3. Perform a bill analysis of your company’s cellular phones. Ask your wireless company to give you a 12 month average for each user. Why pay for an unlimited plan when your average usage is 1,000 – 1,500 minutes of usage. Unlimited minutes sounds nice but why pay extra if your not utilizing it.

4. You could cut the cost of commercial real estate and overhead expenses by having your employees work virtually while the executive staff can work in a smaller office space or executive office suite.

5. I worked for a major corporation which had an internal call center with hundreds of computers. I was shocked and amazed at the amount of computers monitors, fax machines and copiers that were left on all night. Yes many of the devices have a sleep mode but they are still drawing power all night long. All it would take is to ask each employee to unplug each device from the wall every night and watch the power consumption/energy bills go down. If it lowers the power bill by 10% -12% for a company that is spending $5000 a month that is a $6,000 – $7,000 a year savings.

That is just one energy-saving tip but you might be able to achieve a greater return.

6. Re-negotiate your internet and phone service. The maintenance costs of your PBX, the cost of moves, adds and changes can be reduced or eliminated. If you are in 3 year old contract you are more than likely paying three year old pricing. (This is an area where we can Centrix Networks can help. Please visit our site www.gocentrix.com)

7. Looking a ways technology can cut costs. We have all heard the saying that you have to spend money to make money. Sometimes you have to spend money to save money. Some technology solution will provide an immediate ROI but most companies will consider a change if an ROI can be demonstrated within 12-24 months.

If your company spends $500 a month sending and receiving contracts there is a company called assuresign (http://www.assuresign.com) that will allow you to send out your contracts via email and your clients can sign with their mouse. Your contracts are returned faster and the cost is approximately $40 per month. Do the math for your company to determine your savings.

Using video conferencing and web conferencing could help cut down on travel expenses.

Consider using open source software such as Google Docs as opposed to an exchange server or outsourcing your email

A business consultant can look at your existing infrastructure and business processes to determine where you can implement technology solutions or outsource to reduce spending.

8. If your company does alot of credit card transactions you may want to renegotiate your rates. This alone may add hundreds or thousands of dollars to your bottom line every month. One company gave his customers an incentive to have his customers pay him directly via electronic check debit and cut out the middle man(The credit card company) and save $49,000 in 12 months. A small doctor’s office renegotiated their rates they were able to add an additional 15% to their bottom line every month..

9. Consider outsourcing your HR, Benefits, Payroll or a PEO(Professional Employer Organization) This could translate into lower HR costs and reduced liability for your company. Raising your insurance deductibles often lowers your premiums.

10. Split advertising costs with neighboring business or companies that compliment your services. Share mailing lists and databases. Ask your suppliers if they provide any co-op advertising dollars. Consider shifting the majority but not all of your advertising to the internet.
